Water Filtration in Bedford and the Towns Around It

We test water and install filtration systems in homes across Bedford, TX and the cities next door. Every town has its own permit office and its own rules. We find out what yours asks for before we cut into a single pipe, so the job passes the first time.

Where We Work

Our home base is Bedford. From there we cover Hurst, Euless and North Richland Hills on a regular basis, plus Richland Hills and Haltom City to the south and west. Most of our days are spent in these mid-cities, so the drive is short and we can schedule around your week.

We also take jobs in Colleyville, Grapevine, Southlake, Keller and Irving. The work is the same in each place: test the water first, recommend only what the results support, then install it to code. What changes from town to town is the paperwork. One city may want a plumbing permit for a whole-house system on the main line, and another may handle it differently. We sort that out before install day and tell you plainly what to expect.

What Matters for Homes in This Area

  1. 01

    Permits and inspections

Each city around here runs its own building department. Work that ties into your main water line, like a whole-house carbon filter or a softener, often needs a plumbing permit and sometimes an inspection. We check your city's rules ahead of time and pull the permit when one is required. An under-sink reverse osmosis unit usually does not need one, and we will tell you that too.

  2. 02

    Housing age

Many homes in this part of the metro were built in the 1970s and 1980s, with newer builds mixed in. Older homes can have galvanized or aging copper lines and tight spaces near the main shutoff. We look at your plumbing before we quote, so the price reflects what is really there.

  3. 03

    Weather

Summers are long and hot, and a hard freeze can still hit in winter. Systems installed in a garage or on an outside wall need the right spot and protection from cold. We plan the location with that in mind.

  4. 04

    City water

Homes here are on treated city water, and the disinfectant is what most people notice as a chlorine taste or smell. Hardness varies by city, which is why we run a hardness test before we ever suggest a water softener.

  5. 05

    HOA rules

A lot of neighborhoods have an HOA. If your system or a drain line would show from the street, check your HOA guidelines. We can place equipment inside the garage or a utility closet to keep things simple.

Not Sure If Your Town Needs a Permit
